Someone just told me. Never try to convince someone to love you or to make someone stay who wants to leave you. To which I remained silent.
Am I trying to "fix" someone who's making me unhappy? Are I silently sabotaging something that's pretty darn good for myself?
If we can consider relationships to be the ground from which we grow the rest of our lives, we can see how our reactions to LOVE relationships restructure all aspects of our lives. Is it possible to pull away from what John Mayer calls "heartbreak warfare" ?
